Leadership in Tech field!

My very first experience of leading a team of 3 people for our Summer Internship project came in the Summer of 2022! Here - My primary tasks were to distribute the load to the team members in a way that everyone gets what they are good at! As all of us were new to each other, I had also worked to build a good chemistry among us. Last but not least! We won this Summer Internship event.

Leadership in Non-Tech fields!

Right from my school days, I always wanted to be the leader of the pack, so I became my class monitor first in my Fourth standard and found out that it is not easy to balance studies and manage the class together! But I do love to handle difficult situations precisely and in my entire primary and high school period I became the class monitor, the discipline in charge and the yellow house leader!

Fast forwarding to the Pandemic period, along with online lectures and social distancing I felt very much lonely! and here came a mobile game in my life which made me reconnect with my old habits and friends! In this battle royale game (may sound a bit silly!) when you and your teammates (4 players) play against another skilled 96 players you need some planning and 10% luck to survive and win the game! I was the team leader who planned our every move right from dropping location till the winning moment! We won several Tier-2 and Tier-3 gaming competitions in this period.

Rounder!

Ok! so this term comes in the context of my love towards 'Cricket' which is my favorite sport. I am a right-handed batsman and a right arm off spinner! My recent tournament was my university's premier league which unfortunately we lost. For me, cricket is like escape from the matrix! The Bhushan you will meet on a cricket field will be different from Bhushan who you will meet outside the field!

Goal Keeper

Soccer (Football) takes that second spot after cricket! In India during the rainy season, we cannot play cricket so we play soccer. In my very first game of soccer, I understood that I suck at dribbling and hence choose to be keeper! Being a goalkeeper, you have to be very attentive and likewise make crosses across the field to initiate attacking plays! and dive to save the goals.

Volunteering and
Ticket Sales

In my higher secondary school, I participated in many monthly cleanup drives, in which we cleaned the streets, forests and river banks. In the Techfest held at my undergrad university in 2019, I volunteered for a event named as 'Area 51' in which I worked with my seniors to arrange the structural and electrical requirements.
I also was assigned the task of the ticket sales for the event. It was my first ever time that I was given such responsibility of selling something! But I am always eager to learn new things and eventually I managed to sell around more than 20 tickets.
